Reverse Alphabet of Moose on the Loose (A cat)A Poem by BMorrill
Zooms zealously to avoid
Your grasp, lays cozy on your Xeroxed paperwork Waits wistfully for scratches Vengefully pounces early morning when Under attack Took over the top of the tall cat tower Suspiciously sneaks, sleek black Refusing to be captured, she flees Quickly and scurries quietly Perfectly poised and prepared to Observe the light reflecting Noble and prideful Moving with a graceful motion Leaping from the counter Kills bugs with no mercy Joyfully purrs when snuggling In a pocket between her subjects Helps to groom the hair of her heir Given his gross ways Freaky at midnight, when her Eyes glow in stark contrast against the Dark, unless she’s dreaming of Cat toys and ear rubs, eyes closed Basking in the bright sun Always prepped for action © 2024 BMorrill |
