Adopted at birth by an emotionally abusive couple, Kenzie Carmichael sets out with her best friend, Lucy Partridge, to go to college halfway across the country. Unbeknownst to Kenzie, secrets are bound within her DNA and surround her entire life. Being in a co-ed dorm across the hall from gorgeous Nephilim, Deacon Smith, and catching the eye of the not-so-nice half-Demon, Luke Melbourne, is tough for any girl - not just the one who doesn't even know about her own heritage. However, a Prophecy dictated a long time ago that Kenzie would have a powerful choice to make and that choice will have to be made with one of her new "friends".
