I Still Sunbathe In The Dirt:.

Haa morgan freeman's voice makes anything sound good.

Scenery of regression is grave

Sunbathing in the dirt like a dog

You enjoy the sun until you remember

The black abyss you created where your suite is always occupied

You can't stomach it

 

After bathing, you stay filthy

You wonder what kinda soap

Can wash away the mess of things you've made

To be something and succeed is

The real need, to grip insanity and say no 

Until then, the filth stains you

 

Then you realize...(Morgan Freeman Voice)

Sunbathing in the dirt is not all that bad

As long as you can still get up

And that's what I did, I got up

Gripped the feel of urgency in the palm of my hand

And ran with it

Nice poem, I like the comparison you make between being physically dirty and figuratively messy, and the wondering what soap could possibly be used to wash away your mess. Appropriate title too.
