Oh How I Reminisce

I think back to the big bang of it all

The long talks we had

Setbacks we never planned

The downfalls that made us better

We had what most people envy

We also knew we would have our ending

I knew from the beginning

No one can possess anything so pure in this world

I still close my eyes and reminisce

I'm alive

I see you near, surrounded in fear, and praying for dear

Life is what I give you, but you run and hide

I hold you and give you that Kanye smile

You gleam back and in that moment

I'm alive

Oh how i reminisce

Great flow of emotions, in an aura of reminiscence, where, I'm sure, many of us constantly lose ourselves, and think back to all the glory we have experienced. The rhyme and rhythm is great, so is your poetry, and this is also quite uplifting, how we tackle obstacles and manage to stay alive. It was great to read.
