Today the Rudd Government announced a 42 Billion Dollar "economic Stimulus policy". This package is desgined to give the economy an 'injection of life', 'secure Australias future', to 'provide for working families' and to provide lots of lame fuzzy catchphrases for the government.

Malcolm Turnbull went on to make a defence of free market capitalism and advocated letting the market sort things out by itself. This flies in the face of all logical thinking. however this is not new terriroty for a leader of the Liberal party, in fact every Leader Of the Liberal Party of Australia since 1944 has acted in a similar mannner.

The federal opposition then stated that the economic downturn was due to the "union bosses , Islamic terrorists, Artists, communists (stressing to watch out for reds under the bed), Gough Whitlam, Wayne Swan, Kevin Rudd, every single ALP voter and asians - going overboard".

Turnbull then said that the money in the stimulus package was a waste of tax payers money. "we in the liberal part of Australia prefer to prioritise our spending - we much prefer spending the money on useless *cough* useful wars in Iraq"
