A father’s love

Ode

Nothing beats a fathers love

His love is selfless 

His love is as lavish as cracks of sunshine in the cloud after a storm

He loves without ulterior motive

A father is an unrelenting cheerleader,

His love is never measured by looks,status,or good health

It’s an endless orchestra of support.

A father’s heart aches when yours does, 

and is broken when your heart is broken

His love is a life insurance ...it’s reliable

His love keeps him working feverishly to provide for his family

A deep sacrificial love.

What can compete with a father’s love?

I had all of these same feelings for my dad.
He put everyone else ahead of himself.
Such a great guy he was...and lived to almost 98...a few months short.
