Forgotten

Falling to the bottom of the ocean

I feel the ocean water surrounding me, I'm sinking. I don't want to move. I open my eyes slowly, it's cold and dark, I see nothing but endless water. My hair and dress flow gracefully and smoothly along the currents. My pale skin is met with the deep blue of the ocean, my eyes matching it. As if the water is a gentle mother. I am carefully set on the ocean floor. I lie there while searching around, there is nothing but sand and ocean. I close my eyes, it's quiet and peaceful, i feel safe. I open my mouth in an attempt to breathe, but only water filled my lungs. I open my eyes and look up. A bright light shines above me like a spotlight, it calls me. I raise my arm. I am almost touching it, I reach farther out, but it disappears. Tears now merge with the water around me, I scream out, nobody answers. I turn on my side, eventually falling asleep, cold and lonely. Everything went dark, I couldn't breathe. My lifeless body, laid upon the ocean floor. Nobody searches for me, nobody looks for me. I have been erased from this world. Forgotten
