A Brew Too StrongA Poem by BGolatski
Granulated beans a society brews,
a solvent crutch for lame, mute mornings, their porcelain cups alone fully-knowing of what is beyond its bitter bite. With an acquired taste, admittedly, a hidden dynamic beyond one sip, it is only those who most need it that awaken to its extent of piquancy. With many a form for insipid peoples who don't dare enjoy without conditions, its one true form is quickly usurped. Sitting here, at ends with a brew far too strong, I cannot help but relate.
