Winter's night

Winter's night

A Poem by W. B. G. Schreiber

Imagine us on a cold winter’s day,

Riding through the forest, on a red sleigh.

The wind rushing by, darkness in the sky,

Holding each other close, love in full supply.

We delay just for a while to see,

How the ice daintily glazes the tree,

A holy white site, up high in the sky.

We turn and gaze at each other in the eye.

This gleaming night of glorious splendor,

This moment so sweet and very tender.

It could all be yours, my radiant jewel,

Please accept me and don’t be so cruel.

Ah...yes. Emotions can be very cruel...however not as cruel as women. This was very nicely done!
