Day at the beach

Day at the beach

A Poem by W. B. G. Schreiber

Imagine as the sun sets on the beach,

Silence we have, there is no need for speech.

A light wind gently scatters the fine sand.

Oh even the thought of our love is grand.

The sky is ablaze with colors plenty,

To share your thoughts I would give a penny.

An evening filled with the crisp ocean air,

Oh we would make such an amazing pair.

The day is ending, but our love is not,

Through all my life you are the one I sought.

Oh don’t let the sun set on our sweet love,

It is you that I treasure all things above.
