Soar

You take a deep breath and let go;

Soaring into the sky without a flow.

Smiling slightly, you cover your tears

bought by freedom and a new home.

You soar into the sky; into the Milky Way.

Whether it’s day or night, whether it rains or shines;

You keep on going, you keep on soaring;

The days are full of sunshine,

And the feeling of pleasure and rejoice surpasses you.

You soar into the new sky; a sky so high and bright.

You soar, letting go of everything but the feeling of hope.

You soar into the new sky without wings.

You soar brighter than anything.

Your soar brings everyone’s attention;

They become dazzled by the bright light surrounding you

You know they are envy of your new freedom,

Of how strong and fierce you have become.

And this wouldn’t have happened if you hadn’t soared into the sky,

Because at first; you didn’t have wings.
