I am...

I am...

A Poem by Bhumika Devkota

I am the golden flick of light

in a warm sunny day.

I am what welcomes the sun,

after its journey across day.

I am the roars of a free lion,

Roaring so brightly.

I am the sound of the ocean waves,

clashing against land.

I am the voice that sings melodies,

flying from tree to tree.

I am the whisper of the wind

whisking against the leaves.

I am the sound of the echo

resonating from a cave.

I am the sound of screaming water,

Falling softly and noticably

inside a cave.

I am the ray of moonlight,

that looks over the night.

I am the star that burns so bright

to give guidance at night.

I am the drips drops of rain

that runs against the window.

I am the one that runs with

the herb of zebras in the plains.

I am the voice that speaks

when everything else is silence.

bhumika,

Being in the stage of oneness with all others is really a goal of art and the above has served the purpose . The writer enjoys the bliss of it once inside it and of course feels the pang once it is out him/her. But it is natural for any stream of art to be strange once it is delivered. S o what..............

excellent attempt .............

carry on............
