To Fly Without Wings

To Fly Without Wings

A Poem by Bhumika Devkota

Welcome the rain,

when you miss the storm.

Smile in front of a mirror,

when you feel like crying.

Continue to walk,

when your muscles are in pain.

Welcome pain,

but not suffer.

And cry,

but with no reason.

To fall in the ground,

and continue to stand up.

To fly…

without any wings.

I find it interesting.. The title gives the assumption that the mood of this is dreary or depressing... but it's optimistic.
