A smile that's gone

A smile that's gone

A Poem by Bhumika Devkota

A smile that's gone,
the tears that won't stop.
That pain that won't be forgotten,
lives on forever.
You should have thought
of what would have happened.
Now all you do is regret
and it's all your fault
To forget to live,
to forget to see,
now all is broken,
including the memories.

thank you.
lovely work Bhumika, the pain we cause ourselves, the deeds that result in our own suffering, we strive for more until its too late, you expressed such sorrow in this and it works really well, bravo :)

Thank you,
Bhumika: Very sad poem indeed. Another heartbreak, another smile gone. Good writing and we do tend to put blame on ourselves. Live, love & learn. My favorite is the last stanza:
To forget to live,
to forget to see,
now all is broken,
including the memories.
Great flow, suttle and sweet. Thanks. Dale
