I like the message this gives. Maybe I'm the only one who thought this but it reminds me of someone who is angry at something and has to keep reminding himself that it's not worth it- to let it go.
So very often we allow things from the past haunt us, be they bittersweet, frightening, or heartbreaking memories. They stay with us, but they serve as a reminder and a lesson for us to learn from and grow stronger from.
We forget sometimes to leave the past where it belongs, and it can be one of the hardest things to accomplish.
