![]() Dancing Under the MoonlightA Poem by Bhumika Devkota![]() As long as she dances![]() She dances under the moonlight. Her legs swing in a circle, the perfect poster, her eyes closed. She feels the moon watching her, her only crowd. She spins again and again, smiling again; never before had she felt so free. The wind circling her, her chest loosens from all the pain. She jumps gracefully, again and again. She dances under the moonlight for all entirety. And through it maybe a curse for others, it's a gift to her, Spinning again and again, she remembers her old life, The hurt, abuse, life she has gone through, Now all she does is dances, so freely so gracefully, with no one to see her, but she's fine, to forget the pain in life as long as she dances. © 2016 Bhumika DevkotaAuthor's Note
