A ray of light

A ray of light,

is all I have seen my whole entire life,

expect for darkness,

I live in a place,

that doesn't have anything,

but black,

No living being but me,

No company,

I don't know who I am,

Or what I am,

I don't know anything,

I wonder what the light is,

what it means,

Is there a world,

behind this pit,

A ray of life,

is all I have seen

Author's Note

So, I came up with this poem when I was inside a box like five minutes ago. Long short story that I don't feel like telling now. Anyway, please help me make this poem better.

I suppose, we always look for the light and aways will. I loved the poem, it is interesting - and too I wonder if in some sense, it is almost like, that tiny ray is all that's exspected. I don't know. Got to think about it. I think for certain it is a sad place to be. Thanks. Dale
