A book in hand

A book in hand

A Poem by Bhumika Devkota
"

Love for reading

"
A book in hand
she was barley seen without it
no matter she read
forgetting about the environment she is in
forgetting about everything around it
expect for the text
laughing at silly stupid parts
her eyes closed when she was angry at a character,
blushing when she read a awkward and embarrassing part
in the book,
she cried,
when she finished the series that she loved,
crying for a sequel,
daydreaming about what she would have done,
talking to the character a loud as she read on,
saying what she would have done,
reading it over and over again,
never getting tired,
talking to others about the book,
Wishing to be in the book,
Wishing to have an adventure
like the characters,
But smiling as she read more and more,
no matter what,
with a book in hand

I could go for a girl like this for sure haha A great tribute to the power of a good book, which will always beat a good movie I would say...nicely done.
