Two different worldsA Story by Bhumika DevkotaTwo different worlds, a world where everything is false and a world pain and suffer. A great lesson to learn. Unknown truth of the world, that I bet 90% of you reading didn't know about this.False “I am sooo hungry’’ a girl complained, “I haven’t ate anything in for an hour. I bet I am the hungriest person in the world,’’ as she walked to the kitchen for food. Truth A girl, no older than eight, holds a small bowl in her hand labeled “please help’’. She had not had any food for a week now. Soon after an hour or so a person dropped an apple in the bowl. The girl looked around as she picked up the apple. Just as she was about to take a bite, she saw a boy about the age of four, looking at her and the apple. She noticed that he was as starved as she was. The girl walked over to the boy, limping because she was so weak, and give him the apple, “you need it more than I do.’’ False “I am so tired, my arms are killing me. Why do these books have to be so heavy? If I carry this for one more second, I will faint!’’ True A boy fell to the ground, not begin able to stand up any more. He looked at the bag he was carrying; it looked about twenty-five pounds. He had ran seven miles with the bag in his hand, not stopping to take a break. Against his body, he got up and put the bag in his arms. Even if he couldn't do this for him, he had to do it for his family. “Just eleven more miles.’’ False “I can’t believe it, Mom only give me twenty dollars to spend. She give two hundred dollars to donate, like as if anyone needs it more than I do.’’ True “Please donate money, life is at risk’’ a seven year old boy pleaded to people walking by, no one give him a second glance. The boy cried knowing that it was the end, he had not raised enough money for his two year old sister to live. “I am sorry, I could not make enough money for the surgery.’’ False “Mom! The mattress is too hard. I couldn't sleep all night.’’ Truth A girl laid in the cold, hard ground, hugging herself so that she would be warmer for the night. She was starved, tired, and sad, from the day. People would just ignore her and her pain. It was no use, she would die soon if her life continued like this. There in the ground, she slept, and never woke up. © 2014 Bhumika DevkotaAuthor's Note
