Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by Bhumika Devkota
"

A prince and a princess, guess that will never happen

"
Dancing for ever
laughing
talking
with my
one true love
Mama said
that one day
I will find him
A prince
and
A princess
nothing would break us apart
All the pain
they would go away
I used to believe mama
but no more
Here I am
in a hospital room
Doctors and nurses rushing
Mama crying
"Don't cry mama, soon my pain will go away''
I say
she cries more
A prince and a princess
guess that will never happen
But I am waiting happily
I am waiting for the pain to fade
as I take my last breath

Oh well at least you made it through which is brave I tend to faint at the first sign of blood or open wounds so I am actually useless. As for you actually going ahead with the ideas of the prince and the princess I am sure you will be able to see it if you want. But just like at the hospital you will have to be brave and not faint like me.

Thankyou

Wow, just read your bio and am seriously impressed at your writing for someone so young.
