Self/Joy

Self/Joy

A Poem by BlithelyDistraught
"

An emotional inspiration.

"
Enjoy self through any and all extents. Without self the body is hollow; without joy the body will rot.
Like self the body is fruitful, but without both either are naught.
Like love joy is a wellspring, but fraught with is wine― intoxicating and sorrowful.
When love is caught in the joy of life, wonder where abundance lies.
Find a semblance of balance through any and all extents.
Loss will ache, loneliness wakes the epitaph written on granite.
Because without self the body is hollow, and without joy the body will rot.

I'm shit with poetry. Not self deprecating, just know my weaknesses.
