Rain

Rain

A Poem by B D Sizemore
"

Short freestyle poem.

"

While the women dance

The men keep the beat

A rhythmic thump-thumping

On the deerskin drums

Children scurry in the shadows

Little rats find their niche

Old men sit chanting

As the shaman calls the rain.
