A Never Ending

A Never Ending

42 years wasn't enough

A Never Ending

                              A torrent of thoughts

What will I do without you

The only life I’ve known

Was everything about you

Take your wings and fly away

Remember me and by the way

Know I will always love you

I clasped her hand and kissed her once. I closed my eyes when she transformed into my beautiful bride. We danced, swaying slowly, arms twined tight. The music never faded and I whispered “I promise it will never end”. The stardust floor began to swirl around her; the twinkle in her eyes began to glow. Her golden locks fell down. She spun around in a whirl wind and whispered “I’ll always be by your side”. Love and limerence filled our hearts. And all at once she was gone.

A torrent of thoughts

What will I do without her

The only life I’ll know

Will be alone without her

She dances among the skies

I look up and see her eyes

And know we will always be true…

I wish somebody loved me like this. It is such a beautiful love that you express here. Unconditional and steadfast in a world that is unstable and a reality that may or may not exist. And the odd thing is, I usually don't even care for love stories or poems or songs. I feel like so many use the word love for all manner of unimportant things, but not you.

Our Spirit lives on... she still keeps a Castle just for you where prayers are heard and a little bird will be at your window... it is written in the sky. truly, Pat

Romantic and heartbreaking! When someone you have loved through the years grows old, the wrinkles disappear through the eyes of love. The memories are strong and even if that person passes on, he or she is always with you....always. Every memory is entwined with images of that person. This is so lovely....and poignant. Lydi***
