An unsung songA Poem by B. Boileau
Can I take another look That twinkle in your eyes That I miss so much And just now I realize How I miss your ardent touch
Is it written in your book Does it seem like forever It hasn’t really been very long Those days we spent together were just like an unsung song, It reminds me of the story. They met only a couple of years ago. But on and off they would chat. More often they wrote. The age old tale of boy meets girl, only not quite. The romance was there. The feelings of unbridled compassion, eager anticipation, and quiet gazing seemed to magically start the instant they met. It’s the kind of fixation poets write about, dreamers dream about, and lonely hearts crave. The kind of elation song writers make into love songs. This was the real thing. No spoken words could describe . They will always remember that date Inside, the dreams they would hide of spring being sprung The spiritual connection, of rushing fate They were just like a song unsung.
