Lightning Ball

A ball of dark colored light

Floating lonesome through the night

The ball is filled with dreams

And full with red warm streams

The ball turns around

It has a mystic sound

The lightning ball has a glow

It ends like a beautiful rainbow

Hi Foreverapoet. I really liked this. It reminded me of the time when, after a hard day working on a ward where not everyone came through, I would find peace looking at my fibre-optic lamp. Your poem gave me the same feeling. Thanks for sharing.

Ooh, beautiful lights! Pretty ball! This is where I dare to dream with my eyes open as I see the ball revolving around. Magnificent.

Short but content. Melodic and charming towards the end. Magically spectacular. It is a beautiful piece for sure. One can not simply sleep without looking something so beautiful and peaceful to take you to a better place and cover your eyes too. :)
