Diamond’s Dilemma
Sittin cross the table
Just not feeling the contact
I start to believe that
The old saying is a lie
NO love replaces any kinda love
Until that love dies
So I tell this new cat
I needa go
Grab up my coat and strut to the
Exit door
He like hold up
Whatchu thank you doing
How u just gonna walk out on me this way
Do you know how much this here stuff cost I just ordered
Ain’t no way it’s going to waste
So I look like Damn, he make me sick
Sat down and
Took a lil sip of the Champagne
And
Let the bubbles kinda tickle my brain
And before I know it I’m in full swing
Laughing talking joking
And then his phone rings….
He looking cross the table at me
Now- like whatever is going on that end
I should start to gather myself together to defend
As he disconnects and lets his gaze flow back to me
I’m like what
You think that I can’t see the change in your
Facial
He says you really think your something
Special
And quickly I replied
What do you think…Of course I am
I said to him in a cold stance
And
I damn sure didn’t blink
Well
See I know you came here with
Me outta spite
And I just loved having you
Here with me
Because you do do a man’s eyesight just right
So where is all of this going?
Well that call was from my cousin
See
She just married a Dude that got popped
By the Feds…he up in MILAN
Ain’t that where old boy doing time?
Mmm hmm…
LONG silence…
