Blissfully SUMMERA Poem by MS. BAByJust a Taste of New Orleans...Come on down....Blissfully SUMMER……Sun drenched beginning of the morning warmth… The lazy, I will be there when I am their attitude… Strolling the streets of the French Quarter Summer time is here See Eating is a must anytime of the year But Watermelon season… Just plain ole SEEFOOD Season… My lover and I Kiss with the dew In-between us, the humidity claims all parts of you It is just a part of living in the BIG EASY Blanket on the ground Watching children laughing The ever constant need for water Little bodies dawning colorful bathing suites Memories… Music infiltrates the ears Jazz, hip-hop, infusions A cup filled with whatever’s needed The Hurricane Hand-grenade Or A Big Stuffed Sno-Ball…..ohh you just have to taste this… I have a yearly triste with the Sun Hiding from his rays at times But basking inside of the smells it gives to the evening Running from the mosquitoes he draws And loving every moment of it… Dawn approaches The walks upon the levee begins A moonlit pathway This is lovers lane Listening to the sounds of the South As the Locus cries out for his partner, for water Offering up praises to the tiring sun Giving us love tunes for the duration Setting the stage for what is The constant movement Where anytime is the right time Where nightfall meets the morning with Breakfast at 4am….The best 24 hr diners in the world Summer The time for me to stretch and enjoy To feel fancy free enjoy my days off With entertainment Sights and Sounds Food Sights and Sounds Love Sights and Sounds It is Blissfully Summer… Pool parties Cook outs…. No work, Vacation Schools out Time for Lazy relaxation….. BABy(c)2011 © 2011 MS. BAByReviews
