To My

To My

A Poem by B30
"

To my mother, my dad, my friends and myself; this poem is written to you.

"
My mother, though we never said a word
You've been there whenever, whenever you're first
I've been the sort of kid, who never learns
But you pick me up, everytime it gets worst

My dad, though we never really talk a lot
I can see the pain behind you as you walk
I'm not a son who'd offer much gain or trust
But you won't be alone, together down this path

My friends, though we're gonna' part our ways
I still have imprints of memories inside my head
There was never just you, or me or them
We're together now, and we'll be together then

Myself, I've looked in the mirror so many times
I've lost my confidence, I've lost the courage to drive
Sometimes I pick myself up, and I ask why
But sometimes, ask why not - don't just cry
