2: PredicamentA Chapter by B30The Great Escapade is a sci-fi, thriller, action, fan-fiction adventure in the dystopian future, revolving around politics, people and revenge."Settle down, settle down!" Palfer called to the guests of the White House as they stretched their seats upon the blue-silvered round table. The people were of all identity and ranks. Sitting across Palfer is Professor Jim Hanks, a sophisticated scientist who has been in his business for the last twenty years. Retirement is a joke to him. Beside the white coated scientologist, sits Francis Liquen. The tall order of the table, she has been an involvement on and off politics, still being inducted in the nursing and healthcare industry. Her long sleeves cover much of her adolescent years, phasing her old age between different view points. Beside Palfer, seated in a very extraordinary black suited tuxedo, is Alec Morris. Hardly believable, Alec is a retired police officer, but yet in the crime industry, he is an adviser and a role model for all waiting to fit in his shoes. On the opposite side, Kole Rodgers is the supreme adviser to Bon Palfer, the ultimate reason of why the conundrum is still rolling in the government. High chancellor, president, leader; Palfer is everything to Rhettaus. The reason of the love-hate relationship of the people, and the never-ending conflict surrounding him. Rounding off the table, we have newly crowned Gabriel Front just beside Kole Rodgers. A distinct sweat of blue and red from top to bottom showed that Gabriel was more than just a politician; he was also a human state of Rhettaus, unlike the others named before him. "Shall we toast to victory?" Palfer shouts as he lifts his round-covered cup high up into the air. "This, is to Gabriel Front! Well done!" The rest followed suit as they toasted to victory before settling down for dinner. "You know, when the odds were stacked against you Gabriel, nobody thought you'd win. Jopper had everything but a right heart. He was the condemned man, a fox of a desire and nothing but dust. Charismatic, yes. But evil, yes. Not to mention Vaughn. He was so ridiculous that he even tried to uplift the sanctions. What a dumb man!" Palfer added as the rest joked on the defeat of the politicians. "But they were tough opponents, nevertheless." Gabriel said, adding stature to his fellow challengers. They shouldn't lose with everything. "Look at you Gabriel, already admiring your opponents. Never forget, never let them slip into your mind!" Kole says as his characteristics reflected the outer shell of Palfer. ----- The cell was untidy, dirty, full of compromise. The pathway full of dust, wrecked defenses and unduly guards. "Rhettaus is an untidy backyard for the compounding justice; The loathsome of the country, deserves much more than peace." "Shut up and sleep!" The guard kicked the rustic cell door as the captive laid in silence. "What is the date, fellow guard?" The captive asks as the two cell guards finished their improper dinner. "It's 10th December. Now shut up before we shock you with another electro-pulse gun. We won't be funny no more son." '10th December. The latest installment of damn politics. Shame to the government, shame to Rhettaus.' The captive then stood up as he clung his dusty hands on the cell door, peeking through the corners of the room. He was not alone. The groans of many could be heard. "The captives could only be more innocent than the opposites of the politics; Shutting out the world, I know of something that will never be fixed." The speech indicated that patience was running out from the guards. The lock was removed as they were going all-out to teach this b*****d a little lesson. As the pulse swings in the captive's direction, a thump of enormous proportions up-sized in the cell, leaving the guards falling to the floor as the other captives tried to glance the action. In a matter of seconds, all cell doors were opened as the mysterious man escaped from the cell. The guards picked themselves up as the other cell trappers sprinted their ways out of prison. "No no no! Anybody who tries to leave will get shocked!" One the guards picked up his portable transmitter on his arm as he tried to alert Alec Morris of the current predicament. ----- Alec arrived as he scrutinised and inspected the area of the cell. "Who was he?" Alec asked the guards who were guarding that cell room. "We don't know. The files, we've checked. He has this thing that allows him to leave and teleport instantly. We couldn't get him." The guard recalled as his partner nodded in precise. "Files? There were files? Bring them to me." The guard obeyed orders and disappeared from the cell. Alec removed the rubble covering a huge lump in the cell. A note was placed. 'Alec Morris. Mercer Finch. Coulis Resto. The world has become an enriched place, I agree Vermins from the corner, substantial pedigree I don't understand the job of you police I'd rather watch hopelessly the end of a myth Rhettaus is nothing but dust, so is our forefathers And in time to come, you'd realise much farther I'm the echo that is lost, crippled but workable I'm coming for you, one by one One by one Zzytes' Alec gasped in the signature of the note. "Zzytes. No..." The guards returned as they passed on the file. It made no mistake. Zzytes was definitely the captive that had escaped. Unknown to some, he contained some of the powers that many others do not have. He is one of a kind. The cell was built to capture Zzytes and to lock him in with the ability to stop all forces from leaving. "Contact Bon Palfer this minute. We're holding a meeting. Get detectives Mercer and Coulis along. Tell them Zzytes has escaped."
