Roots

Roots

A Poem by B1ack_P3ter

We all have our roots

Some, as sturdy as boots.

Some very weak,

And their lives very bleak.

Some are strong

With love

And hope.

Some are poisoned

Like a sick dove,

or full of dope.

Some of us

Lose them on purpose.

Running them over with a bus,

Treating them like a carni fro a circus.

But in the end

We can't escape our roots,

They come around the bend,

To remind us yet again.

Live with it,

Ignore it,

Be happy,

Just not too sappy :)
