Shape Shifter

i wrote this on 2/23/10 in my first period honors english class. idk what my inspiration was but i ussually pull stuff like this from my dark side. :)

A shapeshifter can be

Anything you see

Even a small insignificant bee.

 

They can become

Anything you bum

Even your own son.

 

Your best friend,

A grain of sand,

Or just a regular man.

 

Do you see yet?

What a shapeshifter is?

If you do then I've lost the bet.

 

A shapeshifter is you and me

Don't you see?

A person of many faces

Like we all can be.

 

A liar, A lover,

A crier who loves to blubber.

Your boss, your friend

No matter what they intend.

 

All wear masks,

Each very special,

But few see the trace

Of their true face...

i'm no where near professional level i mean i'm just a freshman in highschool so please be gental with reviews lol. feel free to critic but don't be unessacarily harsh if you don't mind ^_^

i really like the flow of this, and it portrays a really great message. i like the idea of shape shifters, its a very relatable poem. great job :]
