Skin Deep Inclinations (Special 7 Version)

Skin Deep Inclinations (Special 7 Version)

A Poem by B-poet

Fortunate fortunes foretold

That any tattoo ink is

Worth more than a self portrait

Of fools gold's entirety

That's never vague from any

Moral standard can still shape

How detailed body legends

Will prevail within trendy

Landscapes of admirers

Heart's alike who've come to know

The world's vivid obsession

With Skin Deep Inclinations

Just a short and creative write, for my return to the cafe. Took a break for awhile. Being busy with life was the privilege that kept me away from the cafe. All reviews welcome, thanks for stopping by and enjoy. :)

We are so obsessed with finding ourselves that we create an image of ourselves the tattoo being part of the mask. The drive to recreate extends to self. A brilliant write, B-Poet:)

Society cares too much about superficial impressions and that's the theme of this poem for me. I don't know about others readers' impressions or what your intention was, of course. I continue to be amazed at your deft use of words and your vocabulary. Good to have you back on the Cafe!
