Paying Their Last Respects With A Loving Red Rose (Special 7 Version)

Paying Their Last Respects With A Loving Red Rose (Special 7 Version)

A Poem by B-poet

Well respected & lost friends

Who've reached the other side to

The afterlife's convention

Had sent postcards honoring

The joys of a better place

Where kindred spirits convened

To embrace a spiritual

Utopia once mourners

Before the last procession

Had a chance at Paying Their

Last Respects With A Loving

Red Rose during and after

Each eulogy; a serene

Funeral service commenced

In honor of their fallen

Friends wishes the sun had to

Set on a day filled with mere

Belated sadness and tears

Overshadowed by rainbows

Signaled as each person's dawned

Tomorrow's heavenly dream

"during a after
Each eulogy": I believe, should say "during AND after Each Eulogy"

Overall, this was a very touching poem about loss; but having those closest to them pay their respects.
