A Late Bloomer's Paradise (Tri-meter Version)

A Late Bloomer's Paradise (Tri-meter Version)

A Poem by B-poet

How did this come about

Finally forty-five

Years had to pass without

Any doubt in the air

A flair for clarity's

Reprise cast storms mated

For present reflection

On a life now in its

Prime enjoying the fruits

Of a chosen labor

Due to astute chances

Memorable pursuits

Backed by success' advice

Had now paved real roads towards

A Late Bloomer's Paradise

I am happy that the flowers are blooming in this paradise. I wish you double the chances that you had awaited and half the struggles that you had to go through. A marvelous piece in its entirety!

It's great and many more successes to come I'm certain. Very well written - theme is interesting to say the least. I enjoyed it.

A unique theme that I don't specifically remember seeing addressed in poetry. Being a late bloomer is being an overnight success that's years in the making! I like your take on the subject, B.
