Yesterday's Declining Background (Tetrameter Version)

Yesterday's Declining Background (Tetrameter Version)

A Poem by B-poet

Looking over estranged shoulders

Ruin remains after today's

Heaven caved in within seconds

Realities grip beckoned clouds

Of memorable smoke lost in

The rubble were close female friends

Hope and Grace tailored to embrace

Their near future's wake persuaded

A caring foreground for what was

Yet too come before witnessing

Their deaths amidst a chaotic

Yesterday's Declining Background

B., I keep trying to come up with original comments on your poetry, but Barrie couldn't have said it better.

Another, incredible write, Mr. B-poet! I love
The eerie ethereal atmosphere your amazing
Choice of words captured in this write.
Foreboding, regretful imagery.
Simply brilliant! Thank you for sharing! :)
