Rapture…Interrupted (Upon Her Empty Pillow) (A Bpoet & MsJewel Collaboration)

Rapture…Interrupted (Upon Her Empty Pillow) (A Bpoet & MsJewel Collaboration)

A Poem by B-poet

I told my love

While dreaming

In a soft whisper

Of the early morning

As a half-light stirred

A threatening slow pleasure

Since dawn would wish to hurry…

If I could turn back time love,

I would eclipse

This sunlight with a wink

Embracing each moment

Safely within your warm arms

Of dreams that linger

Forever awakening

In a sense

Of lost ravenous intentions

As a Rapture...Interrupted

A beloved

Stream of consciousness

In the mind of her love

Who cherished romantic sunsets

After taking her breath away

With his valiant efforts

Of devoted pleasure

It's a shame this rendezvous

Had came to an end

Within his passionate fantasy

Upon Her Empty Pillow

"If I could turn back time love,

This is a very passionate lover's poem
Sad that these wondrous exchanges have the possibility of coming to an end
-What you have described in this poem is one of the reasons that I get hesitant to enter into relationships

I always enjoy reading a poem that was constructed with two poets thoughts and words. This one works well together. Trace

This is lovely, a hint of sadness at an ending, but how sweet the memory... Nice collaboration.

A nice collaboration. I like the way that the piece works together; the beginning showing a quiet sense of desperation and the ending illlustrating a sense of closure. You both have a way at getting to the heart of things. Nicely written.

Great work, you two. Was a very enjoyable read. Man I hate empty pillows.
