Living Near The Water's Edge

Living Near The Water's Edge

A Poem by B-poet

Sparkling streams of potential dangers

Unseen to the naked eye

From every onlooker

Who's been

Living Near The Water's Edge

At the bottom

Of a cascading waterfall

Evidently it remained

Peaceful enough

To dismiss

Any care in the world

Where personal mantras

Sparked a desire

To fulfill an introspective stroll

Within the daring individuals

Who've cared to watch

A grieving illumination

Manifest & unfold

From the depths

Of every haunted & spirited

Lost soul

Who fell victim to being

Washed up along the rocky shore

Emerging from the waters edge

Is a mystifying scene

Forever etched within

The memories of all visitor's

A far from conceptual normalcy

Yet this haunting event

Would literally take the breath away

From anyone

Who's indicative enough to say

I know what it feels like

To be Living Near The Water's Edge

I have to echo Pryde on this one, Bpoet. Take a deep breath and plunge in. Angi~

Beautiful my friend. Your descriptions are so "real" I felt like I was there with you - on the waters edge. :) Julie

I have to agree with Pryde. I'd prolly be the idiot to go swimming anyways haha.

It would seem a great shame to live on the water's edge and never take a swim.

Living on the waters edge where roots grow deep and stones skip over the ripples of shimmered memories.
