Living Life & Loving The Thrill Of It

Living Life & Loving The Thrill Of It

A Poem by B-poet

It's the best experience

Known to humanity

Living Life

Bears portentous fruit

During our youthful days

As adolescents we progress

More & More

As adults we grow

Along the worldly race track

Of pretentiousness

Bearing with all present facts & potential setbacks

Spur us into

Loving The Trill Of It

Yet how can we only have

One entire lifetime spin on our destinies

Regardless of gender

It's a rare hindrance

Where time is the only formality

Controlling the speed

Of our individualized experiences

So I guess as a witness

Of this permanent contingency

It's plain as day to see

Living Life & Loving The Thrill Of It

Within it's entirety

Will forever be

Our greatest gift during each and every

Prestigious season within our inevitable reach

we always savor that which we know is not in huge supply...or as john cougar mellencamp said "oh yeh, life goes on long after the thrill of living is gone"....cleverly penned, and well done.

The temporary nature of Life is precisely why we must live it - and love it! Nice reminder, BP!

Yeah, that's right. We must live life to the fullest...loving every bit of thrill in it.

Nice poem, Bpoet.

Time is fleeting... Guess that's why we all do the Time Warp. :D

I made light here, but this is a thoughtful piece on trying to fit everything in under a limitation of a life span. :)

Another morally impactful piece. Great advice in these lines; wise beyond the words themselves. If we don't allow ourselves to really enjoy the "thrill" of the ride, when it is time to get off, what do we have? We can't take "things" with us in our last moments, but we can take memories, flashes of experiences and feelings. This is the gift of being human; the ability to be able to experience and understand with such great meaning the things that befall us on this earth, and who knows, maybe on the "next earth" shreds of these experiences will remain.
