I like this piece, great message. I've noticed as we grow older, our interest in creativity fades. Recently i participated at a poetry contest at my local library there were so many more second and third graders than anyone else and I was the only upperclassmen poet there to claim the award. Again, amazing piece!

The appreciation of poetry is rare this day and age...sad but true. One thing I like about your work is that you always seem to have a thread of truth nestled in there, but then, isn't that a cornerstone of all poetry? Or should I say all "grown up" poetry. I like this piece. The heart behind it shows edge, character and that spark of truth. Well done.

Odd, I got the feeling this was more about personal correspondence and an understanding between two people. Not sure why. Hmmmm.. Read some pretty heavy stuff while here today.. Perhaps my mind's gone askew.

I love the way that you always seem to get to the heart of a situation or concept. You always have such strong things to say, which I admire. My writing tends to flow toward the inside, the personal, but you write of the world, which is something I must try to do more often. :)
