The Waiting GameA Poem by B-poetThe cost of waiting Is so high As a moment towards attainment Contrasted a reality nicknamed Now and why It's hard to embrace Somehow a king's been Put in his place By a pawn Who's already checkmated him Since the beginning of time The cost of losing The Waiting Game Remains superlative enough So a pawn can catch The king's bluff for a ruled enterprise After the king realized Why defeat came Ever so swiftly To end the game Within its entirety
