The wolves have been

Lurking about for some time now

Most are in disguise

As life takers in denial

Others are thieves

Generously smiling in your face

Just to nickel and dime you

In order to keep pace

With the cost of living

Rising economically as we speak

Watch out for those

Blazing red eyes that

Occupy their eye sockets

Of treachery

Be aware and Welcome To The Valley Of Wolves

As they're graciously waiting

Within the shadows of larceny

Consciously anticipating when to devour

Their next victim

As long as it sets up

A lofty expenditure for them

To feast about

In terms of the grand scheme

For their deviously cunning lives

An interesting write to be sure. Economically, I can see the likening to our banking system, which is much like a pack of wolves, "nickling and diming" us for interest and fees and hording together like a pack as they go. They all work together. I think you thought this one through really nicely, and saw it through nicely as well.
