Are vamping up numerous

News trials are always

The focus of media attention

Making their ratings a rendition

So they can go through the roof

While the media crew is still

Looking for juicy morsels

Of scandalous discrepancies

While trying to prove all

Gossiping whisperer's

Have been

Promoting more lies

Than the real truth

That lies behind

The lens of a motion picture camera

A variance of euphoria

Has persuaded our stream of consciousness

For the time being

We've always catered to need

For not comprehending and Ignoring The Blah, Blah, Blah In Life

I honestly don't remember the last time I just sat and watched TV. Too many other things to do.
The media has hyped and sensationailzed everything to the point of us becoming desensitized to it all:
"What's he saying?"
"There's been another school shooting."
"Where?"
"Kansas. Five dead and eleven wounded."
"That's horrible."
"It is."
"Oh, where did you say you wanted to go for dinner?"
"I was thinking that little Italian place.."

It isn't that people don't care. Their phsyches are just tired of being on fear alert from Media scare tactics, so they are sperating themselves from it.

I am tired of worrying about what's in my water, should I drink this milk? Is this egg really bad for me? If I breathe too deeply of the air outside will I catch something? Hey! That overpriced vacuum really sucks up dirt! What? For three easy payments of $99 I'll never have wrinkles again!!!

Nice poem. Somehow people need to ignore things especially if those are not helpful for the mean time... but then if they needed them, different ways are made to bring back the chance to be conscious about them.
