When people become broken

The need for advocacy

To become whole as an individual

Resonates at its highest level

For their social well-being

Wrestling spiritually

With preexisting conditions

The valley of needed seasonal changes

Needs to hear the cries

Of what's been seen behind

Watery eyes

Bearing with the discontented side

For what life has to offer

As the negative and incomprehensible lessons

Are laid out along each of our paths subsequently

These experiences ultimately determine and shape

Our earthly fate

Actively demonstrating

Why we're currently and truthfully

It's always a nice thing to have someone speak for you if you are unable to do it for yourself. I believe we are all broken in some way. There are those with merely cracks, ranging to those who are completely shattered. For the most part, we spend our lives fluctuating between those two extremes.
People advocate for many things: disease, whales, animals, nature.. Etc.. Society does not recognize it if a strong voice does not speak out.

How very true. When we are broken we do we need advocates, be it friends, family or ourselves. But it's often such a taboo subject, even today, in a world where prozac and other srugs are perscribed by the ready; makes one sad, which is all together almost ironic. Intersting write up. Interesting write, my friend. I like the idea of humanity being disconnected and needing advocacy in order to right themselves. There is much truth in what you say...people fall, other people help them to their feet, but if there is no one around, then these falling people must find the inner strength to get up on their own. I've done it...it is difficult, but I have done it. Many unique themes in this one. Well done.
