Hidden Under The Light Of Day (Original)

Hidden Under The Light Of Day (Original)

A Poem by B-poet

The light of day

Comes and goes

Unnoticed within the eyes

Of all fantasy goers alike

A mirage of volition

Remains hidden inside the day light's sun rays

Of warmth and hopefulness

For a better tomorrow

The treasures of the unseen

Are hard to be seen behind the eyes

Of skeptical and blindly speaking beings

Reveling in the inconvenience

For not finding what's meaningful

Within their hearts of desperation

Wanting activation

Of their own morality checkpoints

Without hesitation while they've been

Deceived to believe in the dream

Of finding a meaning

For the occurrences of lost cause's

Remains the way towards deliverance

After the disappointments of yesterday

Have already happened without warning or delay

For the sake of self preservation

That's currently been Hidden Under The Light Of Day

so many wonderful, beautiful words in here. Like Designer said, its quite catchy in the sense that it really stays in your head. You've chosen all your words meticulously and wonderfully; may not make sense (what ive just said), but well done :D

Numerous phrases of this piece repeat in my head, " Deceived to believe in the dream of finding a meaning" it is a powerful perspective.
This poem is sincere and heartfelt concerning misunderstanding perspectives...a thought provoking piece.
Each word and phrase well chosen. Great work.

We see what we want to see for the most part. Many times our perceptions are influenced and colored by our beliefs, experiences and those around us. It has always fascinated me how five people can witness the same crime and come away with five different and conflicting accounts. (From tall to short and fat to slim). This type of incident makes it extremely obvious that unless we are told what to look at (what color is the box?) our vision is individual unto us and solely unique. Be it eyes or perception.

Much thought in this one.. :)
