The Venting Cascades (Part 1)

The Venting Cascades (Part 1)

A Poem by B-poet

Standing on mentality's

Observation deck

Where life's misconceptions

Have derailed my expectations

For what had been anticipated

A coveted wish

Would’ve been experienced

Yet it will be postponed

Until the tomorrow of alleviation

Approaches and becomes distinguished like

Watching desperation

Venting from a determined consciousness

Success was within reach

Of a face to face discussion

With me

Making plans for the future

Seemed more risky than usual

At that moment

A breathtaking visual

Along a blue waterfall stream

Seemed to be a calming presence

Drifting definitely down a unforeseen section

Of the cascade

Had been the harboring of a message

Within a sealed bottle

Labeled “Forgotten Wishes At Bay”

Detailed and colorful

A moment later falling down

The vital steep cliff of best intentions

The motion for a mystic sounding splash

Was heard

Within the currents of a deeming escapade

At the bottom of The Venting Cascades

There is a beautiful flow to this poem, between your choice of words and the images you create. I personally enjoy the following lines: "A moment later falling down/ The vital sleep cliff of best intentions/The motion for a mystic sounding splash/ was heard..." Illustrates such a profound picture that we can also hear. (I hope that make sense)

every single word has a very important place in this...i don't know if thats the right wording...it's just...your diction is fantastic here and flows very smoothly and beautifully. Well done :D

This is just plain old good writing. Each word is in its place and each phrase is properly tuned...sort of like a fine instrument. I love the imagery you've used and the feeling that those images evoked. Life is not something that we can count on to be even and easy all the time, though as they say, to truly experience pleasure, we must first experience pain. Well written, my friend.

Sometimes, these little derailments in life are for the better. Though they may not seem so at the time. Usually something else comes along and sets us speeding down a new track for a change of scenery and a chance to experience something different. :)
Best laid plans of nice and men.. And all that. :)
