What Will I Do With The Current Time At Hand

The clock has struck 6 p.m.

I have to decide

During this evening or later tonight

What shall I do with

The remainder of my life

At this point in time

Alive and well

From the start of the day

Each and every step

Will prevail without delay

Taking command

For what lies before me

Promoting my evolution

Masterfully speaking

My own language

From the depths of my inhibitions

Forever allowed to comprehend

I find myself facing this very conundrum every day...I'm constantly pondering this question, to the point where I wish I could stop questioning it and devote more of that time to actually living...great work :)

The title certainly attracted me, it's kind of a fun one, but the subject matter of the poem is somewhat less fun. It's not exactly un-fun, but it's sort of a serious look at life. I don't do that often. If this poem had been written by me it would have gone something like this:
The clock has struck 6 p.m.
I'm late for work and my hair is all a-frizz
I smoke a cigarette in and out of the rain
as I run out the door...
ect.

I don't think for the future so much. lol. That was just a funny note though.

One will usually change their future up many times during the course of their life. How many lives will you lead and hats will you wear before it is over?
