Kudos to you for this one...and not just because I'm a woman :) This reminds me of the age of chivalry, which sadly, I believe is a dying art. Women are strong, in many ways stronger than men, but they are also infinitely more fragile in terms of emotion and require a lot more care and concern. At least this is how I see it...from my own personal perspective. Nicely done.
this is really quite beautiful and well done; gotta say, I love the message here...and it's nice that women are having stuff like this written about them. well done, my friend! :D

Love this one! ermm.. and not just because I'm a woman either. :P
Though that role gets old if she goes unappreciated in it, Sir. When you find someone that give you this, don't hesitate to let her know that the little things are noticed. :)
Ah lovely. So old-fashioned. I know many a woman now who wants the glory for herself, but they don't realize all the power was theirs when they simply guided all the men.
mistake: "Their would be no more men
To defend and honor them"- first word should be spelled "there"
the last two lines sound a little forced. I might have left them off, I don't think that they are necessary, or find a more natural way of stating the same thing.
Not bad. Somewhat old-fashioned, but in a good way, I think. You have a good tone with this and you've managed to keep things interesting through your imagery. I don't particularly like your message but you've presented it well. Good work.
Nice tone. Very conservative and traditional, while paying much respect to women as well as men, roles different in some regard, as your poem suggests, but very complimentary.
Women do this... and so much more. I like to think of women and men in partnership, supporting each other. Defending, honoring, standing side by side for each other and for the 'one' they are together.
But I'm not so traditional as this poem reads ;-)
A very fine write, B!
