The Time is Now

The dam is now broken

For a conscious uplifting stream

Of positivity

Illustrating a river flowing

While displaying a desired opus

Observing what's yet to be spoken

In relation to the value of a token

Yet to placed into a slot machine

Of chances for acquiring better days

Changing the ways life could be lived

Remaining positive

To the restrictions of the native land

Breaking the mold

Diversifying the established transition

Needed to become who we truly want to be

Relates back to why

The time is now

For a more promising predestined future for everyone

Who's participating in improving the overall spectrum

Regarding the human relational culture

Within a nation of hopefuls willing to succeed

I think the first two lines 'the damn is now broken/ for a conscious uplifting stream' would have been good in the middle of the poem. Theres a lot of really big words in here, which is good, but i think it would've added more to the poem if you had used simple words up until this phrase to really illustrate it.

Its a wonderful poem with a great message :)

I could be wrong but this strikes me as a bit of a thematic departure...your work tends to fall on the stoic side more often than not, but there's a little more optimism here...a great piece whatever the case :)
