Value Your Parents They're Heaven SentA Poem by B-poetValue Your Parents They're Heaven Sent Even if they've missed a portion Of your upbringing Bury the resentment That's been a underlying factor Separating you from your mother or father Everyone's scenario and circumstances Are different Like a candle burning at both ends Make amends by Getting to know either parent better Even if it depends on You becoming the bigger person Understanding why the separation Occurred during the duration Of a childhood robbed of it's innocence They're the ones responsible For making a costly decision Not taking time out Too partake in a life created By a mutual relationship Between two kindred spirits Who enjoyed temporary bliss not maintained Don't let their separation and refrain Become the discretionary element For your involuntary internal pain Separating you from the possible good times Yet to become evident in the present Value Your Parents They're Heaven Sent
