Poem #100 (Setting The Stage For A Poetic Visionary)

Poem #100 (Setting The Stage For A Poetic Visionary)

A Poem by B-poet

As the curtain rises

All eyes are on

A poetic visionary

Standing

Behind a golden podium

All ears

Are bound to hear

The coveted message of poetic diction

In relation to the words

Setting the stage for

An illustrious overture

Of cascading works

From the past, present, and future

Foretelling

Spoken eloquently endearing

Leaving the crowd in awe

Wanting more of what's yet to come

An anticipation of new material

Yet to unfold and be heard

Before the ears and eyes of captivated audiences

Is why the need

For the pouring out of his soul

Was evident

After he finished

His current spoken masterpiece

Before the final act

Yet a last curtain call

Had to fall

The cause for the final act to cease

Will remain a mystery

Until this poetic visionary has reached

Poem #300 becoming

Possibly the final written masterpiece

At the end point of

A long poetic visionary journey

i really like this poem :) what makes it coveted, though? just the fact that it's a poetic visionary or is there something else that makes it this way? just my curiosity, not a criticism. Awesome poem :)
